But surprisingly, it doesn't. I found ドラキュラ物語 (dorakyura monogatori=Tale of Dracula) today and in it the artwork kind of grows on you. I'm pretty sure you know the story, so I'll spare you any commentary and just get to the funky pages. It's too bad the illustrations change from the lush, vibrant colourful images to a pale B&W for the final 3/4s of the book though.













































































































The good news is that there is also a version of フランケンシュタイン in this collection. I wonder what Franky looks like?
