Kapabarasan.

I found these 4 Kapibarasan Clear Files today at Mini-Stop. They're B5 as opposed to the usual A4 sized ones, but due to their Halloween-ness, I had to get them.

 This Kapibarasan looks quite dashing as he escorts the wee one.

 Mama-Kapabarasan likes to stack her litter of babies. I know not why there is a "yu" tacked on the end of "Trick".

 Who knew that Kapabarasan children are an ice cream delicacy. (Sweekyu??)

 I'm not sure if these mini-Kaparasan are intended as treats as well.

This is on the reverse of each File. Does he consume the treats or is he one? I have no idea.

In other news, I dropped by two of my former schools (We switched schools on Oct.1st) because I was incarcerated convalescing in hospital for my final week there. I got to bid farewell to one set of kids and one set of teachers. Much to my surprise, I was presented a bucket bouquet of flowers!

I couldn't resist ending with a dumb joke. I took two of the roses (バラ = bara or rose) and placed them together and uttered 一生" (isshou = together), I then separated them and said "バラバラ" (bara-bara which means apart). They all laughed politely.

As I left, all the teachers escorted me to my car and the VP played Auld Lang Syne on the recorder. For those not in the know, that is a traditional tune sung upon departures only the Japanese version is known as 蛍の光 Hotaru no Hikari. Click that for an old blog post on the subject.

Maybe I'll back at those schools in April. Who knows what the future holds?
